Update 4/18/08 The following "open house" dates have been set for 2008. The Stoogeum will be open to visitors with no appointment necessary on the following dates: "Open House" Dates for 2008 Sat. June 21 10AM to 3PM Sat. Aug. 16 10AM to 3PM Sat. Oct. 4 10AM to 3PM Update 4/15/08 Stoogeum curator Gary Lassin will appear live on Atlantic City, NJ radio station WOND-AM 1400 on Friday, April 18 at 6:35PM Update 3/1/08 The Washington Post has just published a nice piece about the Stoogeum.....click here to read it: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/02/26/ST2008022602806.html Update 2/2/08 The Stoogeum has finished undergoing some renovations and the installation of a few new displays and is now re-opened. Email curator Gary Lassin at garylassin@stoogeum.com to schedule an appointment for a visit. Update 11/21/07 Please Note: The Stoogeum will be closed from December 1, 2007 thru January 31, 2008 for renovations and the installation of some new exhibits. Update 10/13/07
Update 10/9/07 Stoogeum To Be Closed For Renovations The Stoogeum will be closed from mid-November thru mid-January so that several new displays & exhibits can be installed....no appointments will be scheduled during this time period. Update 9/20/07 Open House Reminder The Stoogeum wil be hosting an open house on Saturday, October 6 from 10AM until 4PM. Stooges merchandise vendors will have memorabilia for sale and there will special presentations in the Stoogeum Theater including: 1)Newly discovered behind-the-scenes color footage of the Stooges taken in the 1940s 2)Larry Fine's niece Phyllis Goldbloom's slide show with family pictures of her Uncle Larry Update 9/14/07 Gary Lassin will be a doing a live, 1-hour internet interview on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 11PM until midnight. It will be carried on blogtalkradio: http://blogtalkradio.com/DCR Update 9/4/07 Stoogeum curator Gary Lassin will be interviewd on Tampa FL radio station WFLA-AM 970 on Thursday Sept. 6 at 8:40AM Update 8/30/07 There will be an "open house" at the Stoogeum on Saturday, October 6 from 10AM until 4PM....anyone can stop by for a visit without an appointment during those hours. Update 8/25/07 Gary Lassin will appear live on Retirement Living Televison's "Daily Cafe" show on Tuesday, Aug. 28. to promote the Stooges, fan club and Stoogeum. The show airs from 2-4PM Eastern time. Update 8/10/07 The Stoogeum's curator, Gary Lassin, will be doing the following radio interviews during the month of August: Fri. August 17....WPEN-AM 950 (Philadelphia, PA) from 10PM-midnight Mon. August 20...WEEU-AM 830 (Reading, PA) from 11AM-noon Update 8/1/07 The Stoogeum will be holding an "open house" on Saturday, August 11 from 10AM until 4PM. Anyone can stop by for a visit without an appointment during those hours. Future "open house" dates will be announced on this page as they are scheduled. |
